Mariadonna Litwak is a NJ licensed clinical social worker who brings to her practice over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, older children, adults and families. She has worked as a therapist, a clinical supervisor, and a director in a variety of mental health related settings.  Mariadonna has provided therapy and crisis intervention to victims of abuse, neglect and trauma; individuals with emotion disregulation and/or anxiety and depression; and high-risk teens and families who may have  experienced challenges at home, at school or in the community.

With a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutger's University and an initial clinical concentration on providing Crisis Intervention, Ms. Litwak now treats a variety of issues in her private practice, utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral/Strengths Based approach to therapy, which also may include DBT. Specialties include anxiety, ADHD, grief/loss and abandonment, depression; abuse/neglect and trauma; PTSD and issues of older child adoption. In addition to working with individuals, parents and families, Ms. Litwak has had training in suicide prevention and Post-Traumatic Stress Management.
